Stanford Hall is a gorgeous country estate set in mature parkland, surrounded by ancient oaks and stretched out along the banks of the river Avon

ACCESS TO THE SITE

is from Friday afternoon until Sunday night

Arrive Friday afternoon from midday, party with us Friday evening, all day Saturday and all day Sunday

The owners have encouraged us to all stay for Sunday night - please be on your way by 2pm on Monday

All guests must be off site by 4pm on Monday at the latest

  • No entry between midnight and 10am
  • No readmission except in emergency

NB: This is site of 'special scientific interest' and as such is subject to special conditions

We mustn't leave a trace of ash, or singed grass, or digging or litter - we need leave the park exactly as we find it

Please leave you're camping area spotless and put all your bin bags in the skips before you leave

ON ARRIVAL

Show your ID and the team will check you in and give you a wristband

KIDS: You need to complete an under 18's registration form and bring it with you (you can also do this at reception) they'll be issued with a wristband on which must be written their legal guardian's mobile number

CASH & Credit Cards

There are no cash machines on site but (depending on mobile signal) we will try to run a credit card chip & pin cash bank at the site office on Saturday and Sunday between 14:00 - 16:00 best to ensure you have enough cash so that you don't run out!

MAIN MARQUEE AND BAR TIMES

  • Friday: 12:00 - 02:00
  • Saturday: 12:00 - 04:00
  • Sunday: 12:00 - 02:00

SOUND POLICY

Be respectful of other guests & sensitive to local residents

Observe the campsite curfew between 11pm & 10am

We'll be working closely with the council monitoring team to keep everyone happy

One or two areas will have a later license & we'll have silent disco headphones available

CARS & CAMPERS

Please try to arrive before dark as there will be no movement of unauthorized vehicles allowed on site after darkness has fallen

If you arrive after dark you will have to park at the gate overnight and walk onto the site

Keep access ways clear and never drive at more than 5mph

Cars need to be parked in the car park - you'll then walk your stuff to your camping spot - Don't Panic; the site is very contained

Camper vans and live-in can only camp in certain areas

Larger camper vans

Large campers and winebagos have a designated area (we can't provide power or water hook-up)


If the ground is wet

We may instruct the stewards to park vehicles in a different car park

Do not drive on site at all after dark, accept with written permission from the site office

This is a license requirement to do with safety and emergency access

CAMPING

Camping areas are marked. Don't camp or park in the access lanes or pitch tents too close together in case the emergency services need access.

CAMPING UNDER TREES IS DANGEROUS & ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Please be very careful where you camp in case an old limb falls off . . . the tree that is!

CAMP FIRES

If you want a fire by your camp you MUST bring a fire dish!

This is site of 'special scientific interest' and as such is subject to rigid conditions concerning fires

We must not leave a trace of ash, or singed grass, or digging or litter - we must leave it exactly as we find it

Firewood will be available at around £5 per bag.

One of our friends runs Mode - selling fire pits & braziers. They offer next day delivery and if you mention Give! Festival in the notes box at the end of the check-out process they'll refund you 10% of the price

FIRE SAFETY

Get out - Stay out - Alert Security, Site office or Paramedics.

Stay calm - move quickly - get everyone out and clear from the area.

In the camp; ensure that tents, campers or caravans are kept at least 3 metres apart.

Extinguishers: at the Site Office, at the traders & caterers stalls and by the ambulance.

Be very aware of how dangerous a tent fire can be. Why not bring your own mini-fire extinguisher

SECURITY

Simon and his team are in touch with us by walkie-talkie. Please contact them if you have any problems. Take care of your stuff and make sure you lock valuables safely away.

FIRST AID

An ambulance will on site. Watch out for guy ropes & tent pegs - these are always the main problems - remember YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for your own well being.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL

Obviously - we don't tolerate illegal substances or the consumption of excess alcohol - THIS INCLUDES BALLOONS

Please drink responsibly and don't leave ANYTHING AT ALL lying around.

This is especially important with kids and teenagers around

This is a licensed event and members of the local authorities may be on site.

RECYCLING & RUBBISH

Please be conscientious with all litter, especially ring-pulls from cans (which can cause terrible harm to the cattle and horses). Don't drop fag butts - if you smoke buy a Stubbi Pouch from the bar. Recycling bags, bins and skips are provided PLEASE USE THEM. Designate one person from your camp to oversee litter and be responsible for checking the area when you pack up.

LEAVE NO TRACE - PLEASE LEAVE YOUR AREA SPOTLESSLY CLEAN

LOOS & SHOWERS

LOOS Our event loos will serviced a few times over the weekend - there are also loos in the stable yard of Stanford Hall

HOT SHOWERS are located near the Loos

Bring extra loo paper, wet wipes etc.

DON'T CRAP IN THE WOODS

HOT TUBS & SAUNAS

Hot tubs & Saunas are sited on the banks the lake. BRING A SWIMMING COSTUME

SWIMMING

Swimming in the lake or river is ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

As far as we're concerned we don't recommend it or support it - and certainly not for children

REMEMBER

SITE OFFICE is always a good place to pop into if you have any questions

LOST PROPERTY can be handed in at the reception tent. Details will be written in a book with the finders mobile number.

Please leave the STRAW BALES where we put them!

MOBILES work on site but remember to bring a car charger.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED

We strive to create a safe space where people can really relax and have the best possible time. We want you to come away from the event feeling fantastic - not destroyed. Please be sensitive to the balance between having a great party and looking after your well being - and the well being of others.

We'd like to encourage every group of friends to create something special at their camp; a structure or installation, flags, a shrine; something, anything, that gives you the chance to make something fun with the friends you're camping with

a lavish prize will be awarded for the most sumptuously adorned erection or fantastically vagazled cosy crevice!

Please bring a few small, thoughtful treats - bracelets, badges, crystals - to give away to random people you meet over the weekend
