Yoms' love of music started after watching his brother getting ready for a night at a disco in the 1970's, at 16 Yoms had his own show on a state-owned radio station in Nigeria, by 20 he was programme controller on London Pirate Station LWR where he presented a weekly show, and he launched the seminal drum and bass label - Tone Def Records, in 1989

Yoms has recorded and produced under the following titles, 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, SLM, Two Dreads in a Dub, and French Underground. He currently plays a mix of soul, funk and disco
