Sarah HB

Internationally renowned club & radio DJ whose career spans an incredible 25 years (she started young !!). As a club DJ Sarah has played up and down the country from Ministry of Sound to the Sub Club in Scotland, add to that the more obscure venues and private parties & that adds up to a fair few flying hours!

It was HB's London club nights such as Cockroach City, & Jus' House which caught the attention of Danny Tenaglia, Kerri Chandler, Robert Owens and most of the Chicago & NYC House pioneers - they all ended up spinning at her parties & guesting on her Saturday night House show on Kiss FM.

Sarah HB started on London pirate stations (LWR & Climax FM) back in the 1980's before landing full time work in 1990 at the newly launched & legal London station KISS FM. During eight years at KISS, Sarah presented every daytime show (at one point or another) as well as her weekly Saturday night House show and her Ministry of Sound show on Thursday nights.

Whilst at KISS Sarah became Label Manager for Freetown Inc whose roster incl. Marshall Jefferson, Kerri Chandler, Masters at Work, Arnold Jarvis, Fonda Rae ... a 'Who's Who' of House music giants.

After eight years at KISS, Sarah moved to the GALAXY RADIO network to host a French House music show.

In 2000, Sarah was brought into BBC Radio 1 to host a weekend breakfast show with a twist - an extension of a Saturday night out rather than the normal cheesy Sunday morning radio fayre, and The Breakfast Club was born! When HB left in 2004, the show was scoring the second highest ratings at the weekend.

Since leaving Radio 1 Sarah has been deliberately keeping a low-profile, choosing to return to her clubland roots - spinning at word of mouth underground events from London to Ibiza to San Francisco, opening up for the Kaiser Chiefs at the Brixton Academy for Care International in 2010 to soundtracking contemporary dance music for POP8 (Royal Ballet)
