If you want to camp with your car

No problem camping with your car - but once parked you may not move your vehicle until Monday

If you want to use your car before Monday

If you think you may need to move your car or leave early then leave your vehicle in the car park

During daylight hours & only when you first arrive, you may drive to a camping spot to drop off your stuff.

You have 15 minutes - THEN MOVE YOUR CAR IMMEDIATELY TO THE CAR PARK

Do not drive in the camping area at all after dark

This is a license requirement to do with safety and emergency access

CAMPING

Camping areas are marked. Don't camp or park in the access lanes or pitch tents too close together in case the emergency services need access.

CAMPING UNDER TREES IS DANGEROUS & ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Please be very careful where you camp in case an old limb falls off . . . the tree that is!

CAMP FIRES

Firewood will be available at around £5 per bag.

If you want a fire by your camp bring a fire dish!

One of our friends runs Mode - selling fire pits & braziers. They offer next day delivery and if you mention Give! Festival in the notes box at the end of the check-out process they'll refund you 10% of the price

If you really know your camp-craft then the estate has said it's OK to bring a spade to remove a piece of turf to create a fire place but only on the condition that at the end of the weekend you replace the turf and make sure you leave no trace.

FIRE SAFETY

Get out - Stay out - Alert Security, Site office or Paramedics.

Stay calm - move quickly - get everyone out and clear from the area.

In the camp; ensure that tents, campers or caravans are kept at least 3 metres apart.

Extinguishers: at the Site Office, at the traders & caterers stalls and by the ambulance.

Be very aware of how dangerous a tent fire can be. Why not bring your own mini-fire extinguisher.
