Growing up within the Taylor family, Zen has always been surrounded by colour, creativity and good music. He predominantly listens to all things hip hop - from old school 90s to grime and drill. He was inspired to start mixing after hearing his cousin Freya’s Flying Garrick set at GIVE!, where she used samples from tracks he’d grown up with and listened to throughout his adolescence. He asked her to give him some lessons on how to mix and has since been building a following playing at a host of house parties and small gigs.
