Began with a classical training on the bassoon but soon realised there wasn't enough written for the instrument to sustain a career. Moved to film and TV and had a lot of fun making sound effects for a few years around the advent of digital technology. With a love of repetitive minimal dance beats it became irresistible to try writing, especially using the big band brass samples of the vintage era. With the sudden rise of a whole new genre of electroswing music, since Parov Stelar coined the phrase in 2006. Written tracks for Hot Flush. DJ'd at Give! Wilderness and House of Honey.
