Mark Sinclair's musical career began as the lead singer of the post punk bluegrass rockabilly band SHIVAREE, supporting bands like, Sex Gang Children, The Cult and The Pouges. After moving to London in 1984, he promoted the 6T's soul club 'Agent 00 Soul' which paved the way for a weekly radio show on the legendary pirate station, 'Faze 1 FM', playing alongside Fabio, Grooverider, Dave Angel and Derrick Patterson. When the Acid House scene started in the late eighties his musical direction took a turn. Leaving his collection of rare Northern Soul classics he turned his attention to the upfront electronic dance sounds, moving through the genres of Acid House, Hardcore, Deep House and Progressive house.
In 1992 he started the now mythical PENDRAGON parties which lead at the forefront of underground dance music. He was fundamental in pioneering the Trance/Hard Trance sound in the UK, releasing over 20 singles, 4 on his own Pendragon Records Label as well as remixing for bands like Afro Celt Sound System and The Alabama 3. Mark's recognizable style and choice led to bookings worldwide and he traveled the globe as an international DJ, playing at massive raves from Brazil to Australia.
